Vancouver, BC – The team welcomes Marko Pavlic from Maribor, Slovenia and Antoine Leplingard from La Roche-sur-Yon, France as the European riders that will join the program in 2019.

Marko Pavlic is a Climber and General Classification rider who proved himself over the last few months of the 2018 season as a late signing to the H&R Block Pro Cycling Team placing 3rd at Tour of Quanzhou Bay, 6th at Tour of Fuzhou, 7th Tour of Fuzhou and in 2015 was 7th U23 at Course de la Paix. “Thank you for having me on the team for the next season! I’m really grateful for this opportunity. I look forward to being a strong GC contender through my climbing skills and working hard with my teammates,” expressed Pavlic.

Antoine Leplingard will bring his time trial and General Classification skills to the team’s makeup. In 2015 Antoine was 4th at the French U23 National Championships Time Trial, 1st U23 French Cup Tour de Mareuil and in 2017 he was 1st in Stage 1 at Tour de la Manche. “Getting involved in the DCBank Pro Cycling Team for the 2019 season is an awesome opportunity. The team will allow me to live my dream, racing at some of the biggest races all around the world and I look forward to meeting my new teammates,” said Leplingard.

With Pavlic’s climbing talent and Leplingard’s time trial talents, they will both be strong leaders in these disciplines and will be two of the team’s riders positioned to win races.

The team will consist of 11 riders that will all work well together bringing each of their talents to the team’s overall makeup. The team looks forward to the opening race at the legendary Redlands Cycling Classic.
